The Bucks are coming to The O2 Arena in top form away from their home court with an 11-10 record at the time of writing. In contrast they face a depleted Knicks team who could be without the likes of Carmelo Anthony and Amar'e Stoudemire. This week The UK Basketball Hub caught up with Charles Gardner from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, here's what a regular follower and writer for the Bucks had to say. "The Bucks have been playing really well, surprisingly well given last season they had the worst record in the league! "They're a young team and this will be a fun event for them to play in London. "They use the full team, they don't have a superstar like Carmelo, but they really work as a team and they've bought into Coach Kidd's system and when everybody players, everyone is happy." Image via Twitter The 2013/14 season was a massive success for the Worcester Wolves, fighting for top spot in the BBL ladder and winning the BBL Trophy and play-offs. The Wolves have lost Zaire Taylor to BBL opponents London Lions but will be hoping to continue last seasons successes.  The Worcester side signed up Robert Thurman having been recommended to the team by former player Will Creekmore.  Thurman said: "He [Will] spoke to me one day and said that he had a team I'd be interested in and how awesome it is to be in Worcester - he sold me on the idea immediately. "I was born and raised in a military family, so i'm used to moving around often, so that shouldn't be an issue. I'm expecting that the team won't rely on me but will need me to play big minutes, there will be pressure on me to perform early on." Kendal Johnson recently spoke to us about the possibility of playing in England and while he may not be playing full-time he is set to play at least one game. Johnson will be representing America at HoopsAid, a charity basketball match in the style of soccer aid - featuring players, celebrities and in this case battle back players. Kendal is looking forward to the opportunity to compete in the Copper Box with some of the stars Britain and HoopsAid have to offer. He said: 'This HoopsAid event is going to be very exciting, this will be my first time in London and I'm nervous and exciting at the same time, I'm just ready to play.' 'Giving back to the community is very important to me and I think HoopsAid gives my the opportunity which is good for me and good for them.' The LGBT side Slam Dunkin' Divas are set for a tournament in Manchester to host the first women's LGBT tournament featuring five sides from teams including one from France. The Divas' are based in Manchester and will be part of the Pride Games which see's the teams face-off in multiple matches and a 3-point contest. Georgia Tsakiri is the assistant manager of the club and see's this as an exciting time for the team. She said: 'It's basically a very big step forward for us, we've competed in smaller tournaments organised by the league in Manchester but this tournament will also have teams from outside of Manchester. 'As a club we are trying to promote the sport especially among the female population, this tournament is putting the spotlight on the sport.' Team GB women's basketballer Jo Leedham has spoken FIBA about female British basketball and believes there is no pressure on the team. Leedham said: 'I believe we have created a culture that people respect and now people don't look forward to playing against us.' 'We have to keep this brand alive and if we keep doing what we are doing we should be able to keep moving forward.' 'Pressure is only on us if we put it there, I don't think there is any need for us to worry about pressure to succeed.'
